FIZ CHEMIE is one of the 86 innovative institutes of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Scientific Community (WGL). As a service centre in Section D of the association (which includes mathematics, natural sciences and engineering), we are a key support for the provision of information and data for chemical research and training in Germany.

 

The association Xinnovations e.V. is where innovative companies and research centers such as FIZ CHEMIE work for the development of network-based information systems, distribution structures and the progress of technology development in the German capital city...

 

 

The National Association for Career Education for the Natural Sciences and Environment (BAG NAWU) brings those involved with scientific and technical career education together with the goal of advancing it at the domestic and international levels. The many years of pioneering work by FIZ CHEMIE in the development of networked, personalisable e-learning products for chemistry predestined us for membership.

 

IUPAC has worked toward uniform nomenclature in chemistry since 1919. This international association specifies the guidelines for standardization, defines new tasks and organizes the work on them in projects and conferences. FIZ CHEMIE operates and maintains the international web server for IUPAC.

 

 

 

The National Federation of Abstracting and Information Services (NFAIS) is a key professional association of the international information industry. Its members are companies and organizations which produce content for sophisticated computer-based information services and develop technologies for the provision and optimal re-use of the technical knowledge available worldwide. FIZ CHEMIE is part of the action.
