Numerous players in the technical and scientific ICT field in the Berlin/Brandenburg region have joined together to form the association Xinnovations to find solutions and develop projects in the topic areas of network-based information systems and XML data exchange. The association had its roots in the <xmlcity:berlin> initiative sponsored by the Berlin Senate and known nationwide. The highlight of the initiative is the annual fall convention, the "Innovation and Industry Forum" organized by Xinnovations.
